Arnaud Montebourg is a French politician, lawyer and entrepreneur who served as Minister of Industrial Renewal from 16 May 2012 to 25 August 2014. From 31 March 2014 until his resignation, as a member of the short-lived First Valls government, he held additional ministerial responsibilities whereby his overall brief encompassed the Economy, Industrial Renewal and Digital Affairs. Montebourg was succeeded by former investment banker Emmanuel Macron.
