Goh Chok Tong is a Singaporean retired politician who served as the second prime minister of Singapore between 1990 and 2004. Prior to his appointment as prime minister, Goh served as the country's deputy prime minister between 1985 and 1990. He was a Member of Parliament (MP) for 44 years, representing Marine Parade SMC for 12 years and Marine Parade GRC for the next 32 years.
