James Frank McElwain is an American football coach who is currently the head coach at Central Michigan University. He previously served as the head coach at Florida from 2015 to 2017, and Colorado State from 2012 to 2014, where he was named the Mountain West Conference Coach of the Year in 2014. He also served as offensive coordinator for the Alabama Crimson Tide from 2008 to 2011.
