Julie Salamon is an American author and journalist, who has been a film and television critic for the Wall Street Journal and the New York Times. She is the author of twelve books, for adults and children. In 2021, she was co-host and writer of Season Two of TCM's The Plot Thickens, based on her book The Devil's Candy.
