Lev Shestov

Lev Isaakovich Shestov, born Yehuda Leib Shvartsman, was a Russian existentialist and religious philosopher. He is best known for his critiques of both philosophic rationalism and scientism. Contemporary scholars have associated his work with the label "anti-philosophy."
