The fans know and the Cardinals know that I want to be a Cardinal for my whole career. I love this city. The way that this city has embraced me and my family.
You know, the fans, the city have embraced me. The Jazz culture and family have welcomed me with open arms. Any time you have those things clicking on all cylinders, it just makes for a great place to raise your family and be a part of.

Minneapolis just embraced me. There are a lot of weirdos here. It's awesome, because I'm a weirdo. Thankfully, the city embraced me with open arms. A lot about Minneapolis helped carve my musicality and open my eyes. The whole town is so open-minded compared to like, you know, Texas.
I have just been to a city in the West, a city full of poets, a city they have made safe for poets. The whole city is so lovely that you do not have to write it up to make it poetry; it is ready-made for you. But, I don't know - the poetry written in that city might not seem like poetry if read outside of the city. It would be like the jokes made when you were drunk; you have to get drunk again to appreciate them.
Speaking about symmetry, look out our window, and you may see a cardinal attacking its reflection in the window. The cardinal is the only bird we have who often does this. If it has a nest nearby, the cardinal thinks there is another cardinal trying to invade its territory. It never realizes it is attacking its own reflection. Cardinals don't know much about mirror symmetry!
I want to end my career in Kansas City. I want to play there. I love the city, I love the vibe; I love my teammates.
Paris. City of love. City of dreams. City of splendor. City of saints and scholars. City of gaiety. Sink of iniquity.
The fans know what's happened to me over the past couple of years. I lost my family. I pretty much got devastated financially and the fans know that I've had some hard times - and that's the nature of loyal fans. They want to see the people that they love and believe in get back on their feet.
Houston is just where the whole swag comes from, the culture. We have some of the most legendary groups and people coming out the city. I know I have big shoes to fill because these people are legends. I don't want to disappoint the city.
For as long as I can remember, our family has been huge Cardinals fans. My grandpa is a personal friend of Whitey Herzog's; they were neighbors for decades. Our love and support of the Cardinals definitely runs deep.
I feel thankful for the Seattle organization and the city. The fans embraced me right away, and I had a great time there.
To fully embark on the whole Phish experience, it's all about going to the city they built beforehand, with the fans and tent city or whatever it's called.

A city's soul is best observed during the morning, what is the culture of the city, how are the people, you also get to know whether the city is cosmopolitan or religious.
That's the only way I know how to play - dedicating yourself to the game, to the city, to the fans.
