I don't go by trends. I wear what I am comfortable in and what suits me. It is never about what is 'in' and what is 'out'. My personal sense of style spells 'comfort'.
For me, what takes up most of the space in my closet are suits. I wear a lot of suits and jackets. But I think every man needs a black suit at home. You can never go wrong in a black suit. But in terms of style, I think it's about being comfortable in what you wear.
People always ask me what the trends are, but I?m not a believer in trends. Individuality is more important to me, to stand out and have the confidence to wear something you?re comfortable in - it just happens I?m comfortable wearing a suit!
Wear what suits you best, rather than following trends, and create your own style... I go with a feeling or emotion and don't necessarily plan.
I think everyone evolves over the years, but I have always had the silhouette that I know suits me. I am never going to wear a frothy, poufy thing that sticks out because I have found a style that works for me, and I stick with it.
For me, style is something that I'm comfortable in. I don't really follow any trends. I just like to wear things that look good on me and suit my body and personality.
I admire fashion and I respect it greatly, but I don't necessarily follow trends. I never really have. I just wear what I like to wear. I really like colors, and there are some things I wear and don't care what anybody says about it being in style or not. I wear it anyway.
My mom has given me my sense of style. She has taught me how individual style is so beautiful, what you appreciate on someone else might not be good for you. For her, style is all about being comfortable, and she has an innate sense of sophisticated style.
I love wearing heels but don't wear it too often because I am comfortable about my height. And for me, comfort comes first.
I personally have no shame in saying I am extremely interested in fashion. I am not as interested in trends. I won't go on Style.com unless I'm looking for stuff to wear to an event, or there's a designer I am interested in.
My top tip for looking your best is to dress for yourself, not for anyone else. Even working with a stylist, I wouldn't wear anything she told me to wear unless I was comfortable with it myself. That said, it's good to push yourself out of your style comfort zone every so often to make sure you try new things.
As for my personal style, I like comfort a lot, like jeans and T-shirts. Having been a trainer for so long, I spend a lot of my days in tank tops, shorts, and T-shirts. Still, I do like the occasions where I get to wear suits and make that a thing.
I don't follow any trends but I try and wear what suits me and my body type.
My style of dressing is extremely personal. I am impressionable only to a certain extent. The rest of it is my personal concoction consisting of my favourite trends.
It is only my eye that has helped me. I am still hopeless with that thing called a scale ruler. I love color, but that comes very naturally to me. From the beginning, I never followed trends. If I was aware of them, I didn't care, for I believed as I do now, that rooms should be timeless and very personal. I don't set out to achieve a particular style. And I certainly don't have a 'look' - just a mishmash of everything that somehow, by instinct, usually turns out to be a warm imaginative, 'living room'.
Fashion, to me, is trends - it's what other people are wearing; it's what's hot this season. I'm not as interested in that. Style, to me, is personal. Style is what each individual has.
Style is timeless. It transcends generations - it's enduring. If you're thinking about fashion, it's of the moment. And that doesn't mean that it's not important at times to embrace trends and that type of thing, but style is less about trends than it is about how you carry yourself.
