Basically, me and Ed Sheeran are kind of Twitter friends - well, I say that. He probably just thinks I'm weird.
I think I just look extremely normal, like just a sort of fairly trendy bearded bloke. Whereas Ed, you'd know it's Ed Sheeran from space, you know; you can see him from anywhere.
I wrote a song with Ed Sheeran that was kind of spontaneous.
If you can have Ed Sheeran on your record, you may as well.
I've always thought I crossed this really weird gap between the pop world and some slightly more left-field singer-songwriter music, but everyone's always comparing me with Ed Sheeran. It's frustrating.
I just got on Twitter because there was some MTV film blog that quoted me on something really innocuous that I supposedly said on Twitter before I was even on Twitter. So then I had to get on Twitter to say: 'This is me. I'm on Twitter. If there's somebody else saying that they're me on Twitter, they're not.'
Twitter is basically text messaging. Twitter is a guy you can always elbow in the side and say, "Hey, look, a guy in a clown suit just threw up!" And I don't have 400-800 words to say about that, I just wanted to say that one thing.
I'm impressed with Ed Sheeran. I think he has a terrific point of view and a great mentality but I sense there is someone in the background saying to him, 'We need more love songs, Ed.'
It's silly to call me the new Ed Sheeran. He can fill stadiums as a solo artist, but I'm not like that.
I love Amy Winehouse. I'm obsessed with her, I think she's brilliant. And Ed Sheeran is just my all-time fave.
I know Ed Sheeran writes with a bunch of fantastic writers, but for me, it's quite difficult to be that honest with other people.
I thing Ed Sheeran is fantastic.
I really like Ed Sheeran.
In real life, I'm so goofy and super weird. I'm never mean, but people don't see the weird side of me. Like, I'll be dancing around. My best friends will always say that they wish others saw that side of me, when I'm doing a weird dance or weird faces or voices.
I'd love to work with some of the people I've remixed for - Ed Sheeran or Chris Martin or The Weeknd. But it's not just big names like these guys that I want to collaborate with.
I think Ed Sheeran would be a great collaboration.
I wouldn't even dare to sing like Ed Sheeran.
