We did wanna change the name. We were actually putting names in a hat. It was the people making an income off Motley Crue that talked us out of it. The booking agent was getting them between a half a million and a million dollars a show as Motley Crue. Then there was the manager who got 10 to 15 percent off Motley Crue.
I've actually got a Motley Crue channel on Pandora.
Motley Crue was actually my gateway to heavy metal.
Looking at it half-full, there was only two singers in Motley, me and Vince, and I'm still here, 25 years later. And whether I like it or not, I'm the other singer for Motley Crue, and not to sound weird, but I've gotten a lot of extra mileage, I think, out of my career because of it, so I have nothing but positive things to say.

When you're doing a Motley Crue tribute record, you can ask anyone to do it, and they're not going to say no.
You might as well learn about sex from Motley Crue than your parents because it's a lot more interesting.
I think that when I did the Methods Of Mayhem record, some of the hip-hop stuff probably freaked a lot of Motley Crue fans out.
Storytelling is more like a skin. You start with the outermost layer, what it's going to look like, then you kind of get deeper into it. What's actually going on beneath the surface is not really dictated by or related to the surface genre. It's more about what's going to happen between the characters and what's taking place in the story.
Nikki lives around the corner from me and I see him all the time. We talk a lot, and of course we're still friends. That was our baby, Motley Crue, we put that band together.
Do I think anything I ever do will be as big as Motley Crue? It's impossible.
Being in Motley Crue really made me value friends and family.
Motley Crue, collectively and individually, have done things on our own terms.
One time we saw some hookers but when we got closer we realized it was Motley Crue.
The thing is that I've known the guys from Motley Crue longer than just about everybody.
Ozzy Osbourne and Motley Crue in New Orleans on Mardi Gras = bad idea!
