A Quote by Rand Paul

My worry now is that many people are talking about a partial repeal of Obamacare. If you only repeal part of it and you leave if some sort of Obamacare light, which some are talking about, my fear is the situation actually gets worse.
Right now in the insurance markets, we have sort of a disaster unfolding, a downward spiral, adverse selection, premiums in the individual market going through the roof. People can't afford insurance and insurance companies are losing hundreds of millions of dollars. If you repeal part of Obamacare to get rid of the individual mandate but keep some of the ideas, that people can still buy insurance after they're sick, the situation gets extraordinarily worse. And so what we're seeing now could be tenfold greater if you only repeal part of Obamacare.
My poll numbers are going through the roof. You know why? I really believe a big part of it is Obamacare, because we`re going to repeal it and replace it. Obamacare has to be replaced. And we will do it and we will do it very, very quickly. It is a catastrophe. If we don`t repeal and replace Obamacare, we will destroy American health care forever.
I campaigned in 2012 all over this country for months: 'Repeal and replace Obamacare.' That was not the mandate of the voters. If they wanted to repeal Obamacare, the 2012 election would have been probably significantly different.
Hillary Clinton wants to keep Obamacare and she wants to make it even worse, and it can't get any worse. Bad health care at the most expensive price. We have to repeal and replace Obamacare.
Obamacare rewrote Medicare... so if you're going to repeal and replace Obamacare, you have to address those issues as well... What people don't realize is that Medicare is going broke, that Medicare is going to have price controls... So you have to deal with those issues if you're going to repeal and replace Obamacare.
I'll help repeal Obamacare in my first term, or go home, because you deserve a senator who gets the job done or gets out of the way. Repeal or go home. That's my pledge to you.
From the conservatives, the - the battle cry for the last couple of years, especially from people like Ted Cruz, was repeal ObamaCare, every single word of ObamaCare. That is not the message from Donald Trump.
She [Hillary Clinton] knows the people well. I think there is - you know, also talking about breaking down barriers and talking about that, whether we`re talking about that in economic terms. I mean, she`s the only person who has been out there talking about white privilege and talking about sort of the intersectionality of some of these issues.
All of these promises and all of these votes to repeal Obamacare since 2010, now when senators have the power to actually do it, they don't do it, they can't do it. After all these promises, after all these times being elected on the basis of that promise, and yet they obviously don't fear the voters in their states nearly as much as they fear something else.
We’ve begun preparing to repeal and replace Obamacare…I know you can say, oh, Obamacare. I mean, they fill up our rallies with people that you wonder how they get there, but they are not the Republican people our representatives are representing.
I want, we're going to repeal and replace Obamacare. Obamacare is a total and complete disaster. It's going to be gone.
Obamacare's a disaster. But the answer is not to simply return to the way things were before. The answer is to repeal and replace Obamacare with modern, market-centered reforms.
[Donald Trump] said that even though he wants to repeal and replace ObamaCare, he might want to preserve some parts.
To those who say it would be too difficult to repeal and replace Obamacare, I say it's a two step process. We repeal the Pelosi Congress in 2010 and replace the Obama Administration in 2012.
For those of us who originally disagreed with ObamaCare and now disagree with the majority opinion of the SCOTUS, the challenge remains the same as it would have been had the Court ruled otherwise. We need to elect Mitt Romney and House and Senate majorities that will repeal ObamaCare and replace it with free-market, pro-liberty solutions.
We all say that we want to repeal Obamacare, and we would all love a clean, full repeal. But the truth is, sometimes it's kind of like making sausage. You have to do it one step at a time. You've got to approach it from the standpoint that you make substantial gains today, and then the next opportunity, you make more.
