The Absolute does not change, or re-evolve. — © Swami Vivekananda
The Absolute does not change, or re-evolve.
It's important to continue to change and evolve in the way that the comics change and evolve.
Anybody who does not evolve can become a self-parody. I have to evolve on a daily basis just to keep my own interest in what I do.
Talking about improving the culture, I prefer to say "develop" or "evolve" rather than "change". If I walk into a room and say: "we are here to change the organization," it sends shock waves through the group. If I say: "your success to date has come from who you are, to be successful in the future, we need to get to X, let's talk about how we evolve the organization to that point," that is a very different statement. Successful organizational "change" must come from the people. So, recruit them with common purpose, recognize that it will take time, and plow forward.
If absolute power corrupts absolutely, does absolute powerlessness make you pure?
There are similarities between absolute power and absolute faith: a demand for absolute obedience, a readiness to attempt the impossible, a bias for simple solutionsto cut the knot rather than unravel it, the viewing of compromise as surrender. Both absolute power and absolute faith are instruments of dehumanization. Hence, absolute faith corrupts as absolutely as absolute power.
A show has to change and evolve. Sometimes the change is painful, but that doesn't mean it's not good or correct.
Change can be beautiful when we are brave enough to evolve with it, and change can be brutal when we fearfully resist.
Jumping genes are fundamental because they're agents of change. Everybody knows that organisms evolve. What makes them evolve is that their genes are dynamic and in motion. A familiar example is the stripe-y corn - called Indian corn - that you buy in the fall.
The photograph is the most perfect picture. It does not change; it is absolute, and therefore autonomous, unconditional, devoid of style. Both in its way of informing, and in what it informs of, it is my source.
Believing in an idea is dangerous! Because belief is absolute, and absolute, is unconditional, it is supreme, its ultimate and therefore fixed, which by definition will never be acceptable to change.
We have to evolve, we have to change, and in order to do that, we have to initiate the change.
Business must go on reiterating its absolute commitment to embedding human rights in all it does, driving industry change through collaboration with governments, international organizations, and each other.
I want tension in my business. Tension creates change. Change is necessary to evolve and prosper. I am never satisfied.
Things are always going to evolve and change. You might not always like the direction of it, but people's tastes change.
If you evolve within you, there will be no pride, no prejudice. You will perform action out of pure, absolute sense.
The "can do" logic, by its own nature, does not accept limits. And an empire does not have a graceful way to evolve out of this role. History demonstrates this time and again.
