Or is there no such thing as "too late"? Is there only "late," and is "late" always better than "never"? I don't know.
That's the trouble with awards for a body of work. They always come at both a good time and a wrong time. So my idea of neurotic is spending too much time trying to correct a wrong. When I feel that I'm doing that, then I snap out of it.
