Not many players get three cracks of the cherry.
Every time something slips through the cracks, the cracks get bigger.
You want to get the sack, but you want to get the forced fumble and the fumble recovery. And if you get the touchdown, that's the cherry on top. But you're looking for those three always.
I look back to the 1980s and 1990s, when Italian teams dominated Europe. They had maybe three players from abroad, but they were the best players in the world. That was perfect, because there was always the possibility for young Italian players to get in the team.

Technical players make the game easy. They have a view of the pitch different from other players. They put the last pass for the strikers. They are the players that lose two or three balls in a year.
I grew up where, when a door closed, a window didn't open. The only thing I had was cracks. I'd do everything to get through those cracks - scratch, claw, bite, push, bleed. Now the opportunity is here. The door is wide open, and it's as big as a garage.
Sometimes you have to manage, and you have to sell two or three players who aren't playing many games.
