Especially being in a tag team, you're not always in the same place together and you're not always on the same age together.
Our goal as a team is to keep playing as a group for as long as we can because you will never have that team again. It is like a dying limb, you have to prune it off and let another one grow in its place. That is the way you have to do it, but it still hurts losing these guys and that team because they and you have put so much effort into building a team. Even if you win that last game (and a national championship), it hurts badly because the players know they will never have that same special group of guys together on the same team again. Somebody always goes and somebody new always comes in.
I am the type of guy that has always been the same all of my life. My classmates at our class reunion always say the same thing. They could not believe that, being a world artist, I still seem like I was when we were at school together.
You always need someone who's a part of your squad, and I felt that college basketball really helped with that - traveling together, studying together, and fighting the same battles together.
Me and Nerlens grew up together. We're best friends. We played on the same AAU team in high school. It's like a dream come true. We always talked about how we were both going to make it to the NBA. For us to end up on the same team is a blessing.
On 'Euphoria,' it's so fun because we're all the same age, so being able to hang out and go out together and go to different events together has been so fun compared to always being the youngest on set, which was really fun, but it's like, you're going to go home to your husband or wife, and I'm going to go home to my dog.
When I'm on set, everybody always hangs out, especially on 'Euphoria' we're all the same age, so we would do tons of things together, which is a lot of fun.
I and Alex Salmond are not in competition - we are on the same side; we are on the same team, working together.
What was important wasn't the fireworks, it was that we were together this evening, together in this place, looking up into the sky at the same time.
Honestly, I've always loved having tag teams since I was little, so I've always kind of been focused on wanting to be a tag team champion.
I know that I don't look like a footballer but I've always enjoyed working out and I've always been bigger than most people out there. I come from big stock. If you see my brothers and me together, we look like a wrestling tag team trio.
We must delight in each other, make others conditions our own, rejoice together, mourn together, labor and suffer together, always having before our eyes our commission and community in the work, our community as members of the same body.
It seems to me that I have always wanted to say the same things in my books: that life is one, that mystery is all around us, that yesterday, today and tomorrow are all spread out in the pattern of eternity, together, and that although love may wear many faces in the incomprehensible panorama of time, in the heart that loves it is always the same.
One of my favorite traditions is that my sisters and I, we all wear the same pajamas. I've even still got some from when I was 6. Also, I'll always remember cooking together in the kitchen and that no matter how busy our schedules are, we are all together for Christmas.
It isn’t about being at the same school or the same town or even the same room. It’s about being together. Love is a choice you make.
In football, you can win or lose. We always have to be together, with the same spirit we've always had.
I've always thought men and women are not too well suited to each other. It's inevitable that they should come together, but, again, how well suited are they to live together in the same house?
