A Quote by Alan Paton

Although nothing has come yet, something is here already. — © Alan Paton
Although nothing has come yet, something is here already.
I had nothing - I come from nothing - but I am something, and I will continue to be something.
What do you mean less than nothing? I don't think there is any such thing as less than nothing. Nothing is absolutely the limit of nothingness. It's the lowest you can go. It's the end of the line. How can something be less than nothing? If there were something that was less than nothing, then nothing would not be nothing, it would be something - even though it's just a very little bit of something. But if nothing is nothing, then nothing has nothing that is less than it is.

You come into the world with nothing, and the purpose of your life is to make something out of nothing.
I have everything, yet have nothing; and although I possess nothing, still of nothing am I in want.
Theatre artists are essentially sort of charlatans and thieves, I mean that's the tradition that we come from, so I have absolutely no, I make no bones about the fact that I steal from here and I take from there, and we all do it, that's perfectly all right, that's the nothing, there's nothing new in the world, there's nothing actually new in the way that you do something, but the point is is how do you take something and use it to articulate what is essentially a core of any given theatrical production.
I can fight for something in the name of democratization, although I don't use that word a lot anymore. Come on, man. I hate democratic capitalism.
Since I'm the youngest in the family, I sulk when my parents deny me something, although I come around when they explain why it was denied.
It would be nice at some point to do something that people expect to be good. Although then with high expectations come a lot more pressure.
This is a really difficult question. Although I once thought that a dream and an accomplishment are the same thing, I've now changed my mind. A dream is not something you can just reach out to, so I've come to the conclusion that one can only achieve their dream by accomplishing something little by little.
I'm a sorcerer because I start with nothing, and then, eventually, there is something. And I touch you, I move you, I make you laugh or cry, and you believe in what's happening on the screen, although I always show it's invented.
I went to Buckingham Palace and I wanted to take something from there, but there was nothing good to steal, although I did nick some serviettes with ER and Her Majesty on them from the Jubilee celebrations.
I like to come back to the science fiction of Stanislaw Lem. He is comforting but also funny, and although I know his books, there's always something new to discover.
For the success, Although particular, shall give a scantling Of good or bad unto the general; And in such indexes, although small pricks To their subsequent volumes, there is seen The baby figure of the giant mass Of things to come at large.
The time to be upset is during the race, when you can actually do something about it. Nothing could be done now. A thousand times I'd told them: the key to racing is to come off the water regretting nothing.
