I'm a fan of real singers. I just gravitate towards that.
I do feel that even though I didn't grow up being a big sci-fi fan or comic books or superhero fan, I felt myself definitely gravitate towards these movies that have a high concept and yet they're giving you a moral dilemma within that.
It's like with Smallville, I'm sure those creators didn't know I had done a ton of Star Trek work. I was just the right guy for the job. Do I gravitate towards it? You do what you are best suited to do, so in me being a comic book fan and a fan of genre from my father being in Mission: Impossible and the spy genre and all that, when I go to audition, perhaps I have a leg up because I understand the universe better.
I gravitate towards anything that feels challenging to me, that feels like it's gonna be saying something a bit different and new to the audience, and anything that moves me. I do movies that I would want to see, so I don't necessarily gravitate towards any genre in particular. I just try and do the best work I can and also try to keep the audience guessing.
I took classical piano for a couple of years, but I sort of lost interest - I couldn't read a note today if I tried. I gravitate towards the utopian potentials of digital space (post race, post gender, post human etc.), but understand that people live in real bodies that experience real consequences based on how they are gendered, sexed, raced and classed.
More often than not, the fans really gravitate towards who's on the cover as opposed to how it's drawn or how it's composed, and so, a lot of the time, what an artist likes will be very different from what a fan likes.
I feel like I write about life and love and death; it's just what I gravitate towards.
Just do what you love, make yourself happy and then awesome people will gravitate towards you.
I just really gravitate towards a nostalgia for a time when things were simpler. When beauty was more classical and glamorous.
I think we did our first session in 1958. There were no black background singers - there were only white singers. They weren't even called background singers; they were just called singers. I don't know who gave us the name 'background singers,' but I think that came about when The Blossoms started doing background.
If a guy is just genuine and honest, girls gravitate towards that, and girls love it when you open up.
I'm just a really shy person. I don't gravitate towards attention, so for someone like me to have as much attention as I have is bizarre.
I gravitate towards gravitas.
