I like all of McClure's pickles, but my personal favorites are the spicy ones.
For me, Hyderabad was all about summer holidays, rasam rice, spicy pickles, and more.
Increasingly, I'll see commercials and every fast food chain has the new spicy fries or spicy this or spicy that and I feel like that is popping up more and more. Humbly I do think 'Hot Ones' is at the center of that storm in a lot of ways. So yeah I think that we've helped take hot sauce and move it into a more mainstream place for sure.
I am happy that we are not favorites. To be very honest it's big pressure of being favorites. We were not favorites last time (in 2011) too but we played excellent cricket. Similarly this time, there are teams which play on those bouncy wickets like Australia and South Africa, and are probably bigger favorites than us. But we hope that with the type of resources we have we can do well.
Spicy food and I have a close relationship—an obsessive one, in fact. If it’s spicy, I want it. I want to sweat and shake and go half blind from the searing pain . . . which, now that I put it that way, seems really suggestive. But spicy stuff is addictive. That’s a known fact of science.
What I love is Mexican hot chocolate, like a spicy hot chocolate - adding cayenne pepper to the Hershey's cocoa and making a spicy-sweet treat.
My favorite thing is always a nice, inexpensive draft beer, but if someone wants something a little more complicated than that, then I'd like a Michelada, which is where I take beer and a little bit of either a spicy or not-so-spicy Bloody Mary, mix it like six to one [ratio], so it's kind of a red beer.
I don't know why I love cherries and I love pickles. I eat about two or three Claussen pickles a day. Those are just things I snack on.
Adventure books are my personal favorites. 'The Endurance,' a story about Ernest Shackleton's legendary Antarctica expedition, or 'Into Thin Air,' Jon Krakauer's personal account of the 1996 disaster on Mt Everest, are two notables.
Me and my mom are pretty cool. My mother's Caribbean, and she gets a little spicy, and I get a little spicy back.
BSB are my personal favorites.
True to his Malay Chinese heritage, my dad would regularly whip up a revitalising spicy broth in the depths of winter. He was a firm believer that spicy food is the solution to most problems, and feeling under the weather was no exception.
I think there is a real misconception about Indian food being super spicy. And I know that's because when you go into an Indian restaurant, it is pretty spicy. But it doesn't have to be. In fact, my husband can't handle a lot of heat. I've had to temper my cooking so that he can eat with me.
A dream set would include songs by other artists like Paul Simon, Joni Mitchell, and other favorites. More obscure Heart songs like 'Wait For an Answer' and 'Nada One' would be fun, plus fan favorites like 'Love Mistake' and 'Language of Love.' Endless possibilities.
'What Doesn't Kill You' is a really great movie that was little seen but, I think, is one of my personal favorites.
Me, personally, what attracts me to a man is scent, period. I'm all about what they smell like, they have to smell good. I prefer a men's fragrance that exudes sexiness - it's for a sharp man, a little spicy. It's spicy with a little bit of woodsiness. That's what everyone should start with when thinking of men's fragrance, in my opinion.
Nothing like tailgating on the Bayou. LSU is my personal favorite. Maybe it's my penchant for the spicy stuff. But there's nothing like sampling a little gumbo, a little jambalaya and then diving face-first in to a shrimp boil. The aroma just walking through the parking lot of Tiger Stadium stays with you the whole day, and the LSU fans get there early and stay late.
