You can look at a finale as chance to make an impact or a statement, to shock people or shoot a big cannon and make a loud noise.
I'm most inspired by people who are doing what they love in a big, loud way. And big and loud doesn't always have to be big and loud. Sometimes these people can appear as a quiet storm, but in their full expression everyone feels the impact.
If you purposefully look to shock people, it isn't funny. That's what 50 million dollar Hollywood comedies do; try to be shocking and dirty. They aren't really. It isn't enough to shock. It's easy to shock. Real surprise is what I'm after. Those early movies, we had drugs, which you weren't supposed to show. You weren't supposed to shoot up. We would make fun of hippies. I think that we were punk before there was punk.
I play guitar because I like to make loud noises. And the guitar is the coolest way to make a loud noise.
I'm about impact. One can make impact if they run a big business with a lot of zeroes. I've done that. One can also make an impact when you're a research analyst, where it's you and your associate. I've done that.
We as footballers, like with Sancho, have a lot of power to reach other people, to be role models and to say something. What we say to people outside gives us a big chance to make a statement.
You don't make a statement unless you make noise.
Sometimes silence is the most effective tool to make impact, and sometimes loud and big is the trick.
When you shoot, that is opportunity number one to make a statement. When you edit, you have opportunity number two to make your statement. It could be an affirmation of your first choice or could go off in another direction.
Sometimes there's too much noise about what's happening, but this is Barcelona - it is a big club. Sometimes people make more of things than they have to. We need to try to close the team away from all that noise outside.
I was perceiving myself as good as a man or equal to a man and as powerful and I wanted to look ambiguous because I thought that was a very interesting statement to make through the media. And it certainly did cause quite a few ripples and interest and shock waves.
You only have but so much time to make an impact or people will forget you. My goal always is to make the biggest impact possible.
Definitely with the fit of clothing - how it really depends on mere centimeters and millimeters of difference in terms of how lengths can make such a big impact on your shape. I learned how to incorporate a cute peter pan collar on a dress and not make it look juvenile.
You have to make enough noise to be cast in the right films, and the best way to make that noise is to do lots of good work.
Small debts are like small shot; they are rattling on every side, and can scarcely be escaped without a wound: great debts are like cannon; of loud noise, but little danger.
I don't feel that comfortable being on the runway with a G-string. I shoot G-strings with Victoria's Secret, but on the runway... It's really about the moment. I work with professionals. Professional people make everything look perfect, they make everything that you're wearing look great, if it's in a picture or on the runway.
I don't look to save the world with any of the movies that I make. I'm not trying to make any political statement with the movies I make. I'm trying to have a good time. I'm trying to entertain people.
