A Quote by Alex Lawther

If I'm being honest, yes, I've always been into the underdog instead of the golden boy or guy with the easy life. It doesn't seem that dramatic from a storied perspective to play someone that has it easy or is incredibly normal.
I'm not the underdog, but - Well actually, I guess I've been the underdog. To me, it always felt like I was talking to "the big guy," you know, the big guy in the government, and trying to tell him about some things he didn't seem to be aware of. I just think that's a pretty arrogant group of liars we've got up there, and they don't really consider the abilities of their opponents.
It's easy to be a bad ass, it's easy to act like a bad ass, easy to act like a tough guy, it's easy to be a diva, and it's easy to be self absorbed. The list goes on and on but to me, I always just find it more important to be nice and kind.
To be completely honest, I didn't know Twilight was a book. I thank God for Ashley Greene [who plays Alice Cullen]. She's like, 'Did you read the books?' And I'm like...'What books?' But they were easy reads so it was fine. Emmett's such an easy guy, so it was awesome to play him.
Nothing is easy, and life can be extremely tough, but there's always a yin to the yang, so to speak. It's up to you to seek it out, embrace it, and live happily ever after. No matter how bad the hand you've been dealt may seem, there's always a way to play it.
Liberia is not at the center of a massive geopolitical game. Afghanistan is and has always been. The history is dramatic, the politics are dramatic, the landscape is incredibly dramatic.
I think that people in the phase between being someone's kid and being someone's parent have always been uniquely narcissistic, but that social media and Twitter and LiveJournal make it really easy to navel-gaze in a way that you've never been able to before.
I'm not interested in being easy anymore. Readable, yes. Easy, no.
It's such a pleasant experience [being a part of the DC Universe], though very nerve-wracking to come on to someone else's set, essentially. They've been there for two years, so for me to sort of walk on and to be expected to jump into it, it's not always that easy. But they made it incredibly welcoming and hospitable, so I'm very grateful for that.
Pizza was made for television in so many ways: it is easy to heat up, easy to divide and easy to eat in a group. It is easy to enjoy, easy to digest and easy-going. It is so Italian!
It's not easy making money as an actor. It's just not an easy thing to do. There's so many that want to do it and so few opportunities to do it that it's not as easy as it would seem.
I think 'Easy Rider' might have been the first time that someone made a film using found music instead of an orchestral score. No one had really used found music in a movie before, except to play on radios or when someone was singing in a scene.
I'm easy. Very easy. I'll tell you why I am easy. If someone is no good, I get rid of them. It is no good being tough on somebody who can't do the job. If he can do the job, then there is no point in being tough with him.
We've always been slammed by most of the British press. They probably hate us because we're too normal and incredibly honest.
Nothing in my life has really ever been easy. I've always been someone who did it uphill.
It's really not easy to be an artist. It's not easy to put yourself out there and be honest. I'm making things that are really happening to me, and it's not easy to share that with the world.
It's easy to carry the past as a burden instead of a school. It's easy to let it overwhelm you instead of educate you.
