I don't think the physical part of English football would be a problem. When you get the ball, you need to be ready. The defenders here are very tough. I like that. — © Alexandre Pato
I don't think the physical part of English football would be a problem. When you get the ball, you need to be ready. The defenders here are very tough. I like that.
I think my style of play would be appreciated in England, but as Spanish football is more technical, rather than box-to-box like in English football, my physical style is highlighted much more.
It's very tough in the U.K. For me, it was totally different. English football and French football are not the same.
The problem is we need toughness. Honestly, I think Jeb[Bush] is a very nice person. He's a very nice person. But we need tough people. We need toughness. We need intelligence and we need tough.
English football is very physical, much more so than Spanish football - I felt it in the first match.
English football is different, especially for a goalkeeper. It's more aggressive, more physical. It's far, far harder. The ball is in the air more, and you get pushed about. And the referees don't blow anything!
Without a doubt, German football, where I've played for nearly five years, is very similar - maybe just a little less tough than English football.
English football is very different from Italian; it's more physical, and matches are always very open.
If I lose the ball, I want to get on it as quickly as possible and make up for it, whereas before, I would hide away and maybe only look for the ball 10 minutes later. I don't want to give the defenders any break.
Reminiscing No one knows ... until you live it, to be there, to tee it up each week, to get yourself ready, the players and whatever else.... I think its a very, very difficult, tough and demanding job. And to be able to, particularly, stay at the level of expertise that we have over the years. Along with the fact that we have made football a presence at BYU. I think those are the things that are about as satisfying as anything that has happened. Then, of course, the players.... I think the thing that will be the most difficult is leaving the relationships and the involvement.
Clipper took a relatively simple problem, encryption between two phones, and turned it into a much more complex problem, encryption between two phones but that can be decrypted by the government under certain conditions and, by making the problem that complicated, that made it very easy for subtle flaws to slip by unnoticed. I think it demonstrated that this problem is not just a tough public policy problem, but it's also a tough technical problem.
I always say the Premier League is the best in the world, and I still feel it is an honour to be playing here, but I think English football suits my game. Football is more physical here; the ref is not whistling every foul.
When you don't have the ball, you need to be a killer, and you need to be tough. If you do have the ball, you need to feel free and to create things and to play with your head.
It is very tough to beat an English team. The type of football they play is only in the Premier League. They defend as though their lives depend on it. And they are very successful.
I think the part that people get confused is that when you come in National Football League at a young age, they tell you to try to look for other things to do, and be ready for everything else in your life just in case. But as soon as you have a bunch of success, they think that's the only thing you can do, that you can only be a football player. I think God has gifted me with so many other things other than just football, and that's what I want to bring to the world.
I learned everything in France, I grew up in France, but England is not the same football. It's very difficult, it's very tough, very physical.
In a good relationship, people get angry, but in a very different way. The Marriage Masters see a problem a bit like a soccer ball. They kick it around. It's 'our' problem.
