A Quote by Anna Chlumsky

I guess it's nice to know I still resonate in people's minds. — © Anna Chlumsky
I guess it's nice to know I still resonate in people's minds.
I know that books I have written will still resonate in 50 years - particularly 'My Sister's Keeper.' It has sold three million copies in the States alone. I strongly feel that, as a novelist, you have a platform and the ability to change people's minds.
I think. I do know that I like connecting to people who really resonate with the music. I guess I almost wish I could just connect with the people who really need it.
It's always nice to know people are watching and having their own ideas about things and it's nice when your audience starts trying to guess what's going to happen, it means they're really interested.
I feel like I want people to... I guess not be as judgemental of situations because they might not know the full story. Just to try to be nice about other people's struggles and be understanding and not judge people based on their circumstances.
Off the court, I'm a totally different person. I've heard people be like, 'Oh, so sweet, like a big ole teddy bear.' But I guess I still have that look on my face in a game. I guess I still have a vibe where it's intimidating.
That kiss was really nice you know before you...bit me, but it was still nice.
If you think that people should be nice to one another, then by all means be nice. But when you project that belief onto the people and the world around you as if it were an objective reality, or worse still, as if it were their job to be nice to you, you put yourself at odds with what is, and suffering will surely follow.
People can't bear the idea that I could be sexual and provocative, and still be a nice person with a nice family and a nice husband, and have a career that could work, and be paid a certain amount of money.
I feel like the so-called bad guys are never totally bad. I guess it's the closest thing I can do to reality: people act nice but nobody really is nice. We all have to balance that with something dark.
To this day, I fondly recall the challenges of building a fire, pitching a tent, climbing a New England mountain, canoeing on a lake. Camp songs still resonate inside me. Competition exists at Keewaydin, of course, but nobody fails summer camp, a nice respite from winters of fortune and misfortune at school.
I guess if you try to write with honesty and emotional truth, then that will resonate no matter what the age of the viewer.
As an actor, you really want to resonate with your audience. I played a character on Oz and people still approach me in the streets today.
I think there's still a lot of room in 'Riverdale' for that. Asexuality is not one of those things, in my research, that is so understood at face value, and I think maybe the development of that narrative could also be something very interesting and very unique and still resonate with people and not step on anyone's toes.
I always say that you can be polite and nice and still know what you want and still can see your path.
A lot of people that I started out with, I don't know where they are. I guess it takes tenacity to still be doing this, and luck, but I've been very blessed.
As society changes, as politics change, as people change, certain songs still seem to resonate.
