I just want to do well in every game that I'm picked to play.
Obviously as players we want to play every game. But when you do miss out, I strongly believe the job is to not sulk and make things uncomfortable for those picked or the captain.
Some players don't like training and I've seen some players who aren't bothered if they play or not. But I want to play every game. Sometimes you have to rest in certain games, but I want to play in every game.
I don't just get bogged down in, 'I want to win.' There's something even greater than that. And that's the way that you play the game. I want to play beautiful football. That's our purpose: to go out and play the game at the highest level, play it the right way.
Do I want to play every game? Yes, I want to play every game. But I also understand it's impossible.

Unfortunately with the media, the red tops, and all the celebrity weekly magazines, the ones who were once loyal - well, when I say loyal, this is a game; this is a game that we're in. If it's your time to get picked on, then you get picked on, and, you know, I'm used to that.
I just want to exhaust every opportunity to play and obviously try to play in a game like this - the Super Bowl.
A lot of guys kind of get complacent with how they do in one game, but I just want to compete. So every game I play in, it's a brand new beginning for me.
I feel that Im not losing the game for our team. Im trying to give us the best opportunity to win the football game. I did everything I could to lose the Jets game but we won. And the Patriots game, I didnt play well. I think that this year, I just come out and play smart football. I got some good advice the other day (from CBS Sports Dan Dierdorf): Every drive that ends in a kick is a good drive.
The players don't sit in there and think, 'We have to make the Champions League.' They want to play well in every game.
I want to play every game, as does every player. But sometimes, you just have to listen to the manager.
I'm going to get criticised every game, you play well you don't play well, so I'm used to it.
