I love that I live a creative life. It is in the work that I do - acting, writing, and directing. It's also in the mindfulness of every part of my life, from a meal that I prepare for family and friends to putting my imagination to work in a garden.
I believe everything is energy. I believe that the meal you serve yourself, you prepare, is energy. And if you serve it to your family, it's your gift of energy to them.
There is a deliberate effort to undermine food culture to sell us processed food. The family meal is a challenge if you're General Mills or Kellogg or one of these companies, or McDonald's, because the family meal is usually one thing shared.
I'm a bit traditional in the way that I think that a woman draws her energy from the house. Food is a really nice way of expressing that energy and love, and doing something with care and putting time into it and nourishing your family.
It's just about putting in the work and really putting in time and effort to something you love.
I have a busy schedule and am constantly traveling so when I do have the time to grocery shop or prepare a meal, I make it a priority.

Our family is in love with this profession, and I am really fortunate that I have got an opportunity to prove myself and to do what I love to do... My effort will be to put my heart and soul in my work, and I will try to make not only my family but the entire country happy with my work.
And, I believe that one of the most loving things you can do is prepare a meal for someone you love. None of which I know how to do!
I'm not anti-middle-class in the slightest. Look at me! I am very pro people putting time and money and effort into trying to improve the world.
