A Quote by Betty White

It's been phenomenal, but everybody keeps congratulating me on my resurgence and my big comeback. I haven't been away, guys. I've been working steadily for the last 63 years.
But it must not be thought that I say this out of personal experience: for in the many years that I have been before the public my secret methods have been steadily shielded by the strict integrity of my assistants, most of whom have been with me for years.
I've been in the Premier League for 10 years, more, and the money I've been paid is phenomenal compared to your average, everyday working man.
All the materialistic things I have been able to have over the last number of years are slowly being taken away from me. It's been really challenging but also it's been encouraging to myself to see what my God is actually doing.
It's definitely not the typical path. But at the same time, I've been working at this since I was young. I've been swimming and running my entire life, and I've been given so much support the last few years in cycling, that I've been able to improve. And I'm still improving and still absorbing that support to help me get to be the best that I can be.
In modelling, some girls have been working for the last 15 years and they are still in the same cycle of what they have been doing. It is too big a pool and I am not going to travel with the herd. I need to pave my own way.
I've put in 63 years now in the big leagues as a player, coach, manager. And now just being around these young guys, it keeps you going pretty good.
My father has been out of office for 25 years and I've been working in the private sector. I've been raising a family and I've been working in the charitable sector as well.
There's ten of us, we've been best friends for thirty years. Ten guys. And their wives, and their kids, are all family now. I'm not big on keeping up on the phone, none of us are. Some guys I won't talk to for two months and then you pick up the phone and hear, "So, anyway." There's no guilt or where have you been? or what's been going on? or why haven't we talked? There's an ease to it.
I've been in there with, to me, some top-tier guys, and so has Trout. You can't take that away from him at all. He's fought all of the top guys, everybody.
My education as a filmmaker has been entirely practical. I started working professionally in the film business in 1970, and I've been at it steadily since, and I pay a lot of attention.
I've been on a lot of sets, and I've been around a lot of directors, and I've been working for many years now, but stepping in the shoes of being the decision maker and the guy that everybody is relying on at some point, yeah, it was challenging for sure. One thing is that you're responsible for a large group of people.
[Theater] has always been a big focus. I have been away from it for the past few years. I want to get back to it!
Over the last 30 years there have been a steadily growing number of architects who are returning to traditional and classical principles.
There aren't a lot of guys out there keeping it real. Everybody's been branded. Everybody's been bought and sold.
When I first made the comeback it was more about getting fit and hopefully inspiring others to lead a better life... for me to achieve what I have achieved over the last two years has been a dream come true.
Last time I spoke to my mom she called me from a pay phone, and we didn't have the best talk. Ever since my stepdad passed away three years ago, she has been very depressed and hasn't been herself at all.
