A Quote by Billie Joe Armstrong

It's better to regret something you have done than to regret something you haven't done. — © Billie Joe Armstrong
It's better to regret something you have done than to regret something you haven't done.
I'm far from perfect. There's a lot of times you'll say something that you regret or do something that you regret and wish you wouldn't have said it or done it.
Isn't it better to regret things you've done, than regret things you've never even tried?
Maybe I might be repeating the same mistake again... But don't you think it is far better to regret what I have done than what I have not done yet...?

I rest in the light of forgiveness. I forgive myself and others for that which is done (and better left undone) and also that which is not done (and better if done). I give myself permission to enjoy this moment without guilt. I freely release all uncertainty, regret, and fear.
I don't think there's a person out there who can say they haven't done something they regret.
Act', implores the Ghost of Future Regret. 'I shan't give you another chance'. [and so Jacob does] 'Damned fool,' groans the Demon of Present Regret. 'What have you done?

Nothing that I've turned down do I feel like I should have done. Because I've generated everything I've done, I've never really considered doing something that I haven't originated myself. There are definitely things that I've been brought that someone else made good movies out of. But it's not a path I've followed, so I don't have regret.
It's better to have something to remember than anything to regret.
