I've always had an artistic hand. I took on paint when I started falling in love with the abstract expressionists. I approached it from a physical standpoint, but I've also been honing my compositional eye through film.

I think 'GoodFellas' is just a perfect film. From an efficiency of storytelling standpoint, from an entertainment standpoint, from a performance standpoint, from a use of music standpoint, from a cinematography and editing standpoint - to me, it's just a perfect movie.
Actually, I love the Abstract Expressionists - or I like the ones I like, anyway.

I also love just having a quiet time, sitting in my little library at home in Brooklyn and reading or watching documentaries or listening to music.
