Pace of play has been an issue for golf at all levels for a long time and I'm committed to being a part of the solution, not the problem. — © Bryson DeChambeau
Pace of play has been an issue for golf at all levels for a long time and I'm committed to being a part of the solution, not the problem.
I've said for a long time there is no military solution to the crisis in Syria. There has to be a diplomatic solution. ISIL cannot be part of it. Al-Qaeda cannot be part of it, and Assad cannot be part of it. We are dealing with issues that have been going on for centuries, and I'm not sure the administration fully appreciates that.
My dad died when I was young. He was a good and decent man. There are a few things he would say that have just always stuck with me. He'd say, "Son, you're either part of the problem or part of the solution." Well, regrettably, President Obama has become part of the problem, and Mitt Romney is the solution.
You're part of the problem or the solution. Solution means, in my opinion, to be taking extra time and energy in trying to give back to the world.
I've been playing golf as long as I've been dancing, since I was 13 or 14. I play off six. I like to get out on a golf course as often as I can.
Every problem has a solution. Sometimes it just takes a long time to find the solution - even if it's right in front of your nose.
I think the hardest part about Golf is being committed to your wife
I try and stay out of the sun for the most part. I wear a hat. I play golf. And I wear a hat. But I've had no problem - no major problem - but certainly no problem with skin.
When you change from being a part of the problem to being a part of the solution, allow somebody that.
The solution to a problem - a story that you are unable to finish - is the problem. It isn't as if the problem is one thing and the solution something else. The problem, properly understood = the solution. Instead of trying to hide or efface what limits the story, capitalize on that very limitation. State it, rail against it.
Golf has always been a part of my life. My parents have footage of me in a walker swinging a plastic club. If I didn't play golf, I would have been a baseball player. I could sit and watch baseball all day.
My stance has always been that my issue compared to everything else going on in the world is really, really small. Once you realize that, you can get a lot more out of being a part of the solution.
This is the hard part. Knowing and admitting a problem are not the same as solving it. But executing a solution is also the fun part, because the solution save you and gets you moving again.
Sometimes when you play a golf course for the first time, you just got to be committed to your targets.
I've always tried to play golf with a golf club. I have a hard time driving with my rifle. I mean, 18 is really narrow ... I have no problem with the course, except for the tee shot on 18.
It was a tedious saying among hippies: if you're not part of the solution, you're part of the problem. I was very much part of the problem.
Benjamin Netanyahu has made the official policy of the Israeli government the two-state solution, at a time when he had opposition from many quarters. That is his official position. He remains publicly committed to it, but not just publicly; also in diplomacy, totally committed to moving swiftly toward that solution.
