A Quote by Burt Reynolds

If you hold on to things long enough, they get back into style. Like me. — © Burt Reynolds
If you hold on to things long enough, they get back into style. Like me.
If you hang onto something long enough, it will come back in style.. Like ME.
I like Rihanna's style a lot. I like how she pulls off this cool tomboy style. I get inspired by other models; I think their off-duty style is cool. I get inspired by new designers that I see on Instagram. It just depends. I get inspired by the '90s a lot, and I look back on old things.
Things will get better if you just hold out long enough.
I wanna get back To the old days When the phone would ring And I knew it was you I wanna talk back And get yelled at Fight for nothing Like we used to Oh kiss me Like you mean it Like you miss me Cuz I know you do I wanna get back, get back I wanna get back, get back I wanna get back, get back Get Back
I think, with suits and clothes, if you keep them long enough, they all come back in fashion. It's like me. I've been around long enough and I've come back in fashion.
Oddly enough, I suppose, I don't give much thought to my style, and I don't attempt to be consistent - except within a story. You ask if I struggled to find my style. It seems to me that style - in other words, a way of thinking and doing things - is innate. You can try to will it to be different, but it's like a signature - you can't change its fundamental nature.
We go out of fashion but can also come back into fashion. So you've just got to hang around long enough until you are back in style.
Wait long enough and you reap what you sow. That hold for men. That hold for towns. That hold for a whole country.
The things that hold women back, hold them back from sitting at the boardroom table and they hold women back from speaking at the PTA meeting.
There's no such thing as a perfect life, but if you hold on to that long enough and watch it get chipped away, that's really hard to deal with. I had no one telling me otherwise.
I like to jot down ideas on the back of envelopes and to recognise the potential value in small things. I also like the freedom to think without feeling compelled to write too early. Stories are often better if we can hold back and get to know the characters and the sounds of language.
But I try to say things that are the truth, and I don't hold back, and sometimes it does get me into trouble.
I don't care why they love me, as long as they love me. I think people respect me because they feel like - I'm kind of like Christmas. I come back every year. You can't get rid of me. I just keep coming back.
I think that with albums these days, as long as you are moving forward and not trying to re-create things and looking back, albums are like living breathing things. They change, they evolve and it's this big thing that you are trying to get out to people. To me, whatever you can do to get it out there, do that.
I think you get one great love in your life like that, if you're lucky enough, where you hold nothing back. And I'm not saying that's the healthiest way to love either.
There's also an immediacy to everything that has changed everybody's expectations. Now if I can't get a hold of somebody on their cell phone I'm, like, angry with them. And in my mind, all the things that I really value in terms of art, really good novels or films or comics, I know they all take a long, long time to create, and they take a lot of concentration and dedication...and I just feel like the training for that is becoming more and more rare when people are used to seeing things like YouTube clips, and being able to acquire things instantly.
