Honestly, I think I'm really good at taking off makeup. I cannot fall asleep with my makeup on. And I have makeup wipes beside my bed and all of that so there's like no excuse. I think that's extremely important.
I always take off my makeup. My mother always told me to do this, and I never go to bed without doing it. I use a good moisturizer and Mario Badescu face wash.
Before I go to bed, I brush my teeth and take off all my makeup. I like to use Neutrogena's makeup remover wipes.
Never take your makeup off before bed. Sleep in it. That way, you're all ready to go if a hot postman rings the doorbell early.
I never go to bed with makeup on.
Putting the makeup on, not a problem. Taking the makeup off, every night.... it makes your face swell.
I wash and moisturize my face in the morning and at night. If I have a show, I may even wash before and after the show. I never go to sleep with makeup on my face. At the minimum, I'm at least going to use makeup wipes to take my makeup off.
Honestly, I think it's about always making sure to cleanse your skin every single night. I never go to bed with my makeup on. That is a major key. There's nothing worse than waking up in the morning and all of your makeup has soaked into your pores.
I always take my makeup off before bed, even after a night out. Cleanse, tone and moisturise. I also like my skin to be able to breathe, so I don't wear thick, heavy makeup on my face.
It's very, very important to wash off makeup. Like, really wash it off - I used to be really bad and leave some on when I would go to bed, but it's so important to get it all off.
When I hug her, I notice she's still wearing yesterday's false eyelashes. Mom? You know those come off with a little makeup remover and a cotton pad?" I'm not taking them off." Why not?" I spent $180 on that makeup job and I refuse to wash my face until I get my money's worth.
That's my one rule: always take off my makeup; no matter how tired I am before going to bed, it comes off!
Oh, what the hell did I know? I went to the set the first day in full makeup and the director told me to take it off. So I did the film without makeup. I had nothing to do with anything I did. I never understood why I was so famous.
I'm really an outdoorsy girl. People think I can't go anywhere without getting all primped up, but I love to go camping, and I'm totally fine with not doing my hair or makeup, not taking a shower and just hiking.
I remember taking my makeup off at a Saint Laurent shoot, and I was dragging it across my eye. The makeup artist was like, 'Don't do that to your skin! Don't pull it like that!' And I'm like, 'Really?'
In college, I would do my teammate's hair and their makeup sometimes. I did a friend's makeup at the 2008 Olympics, and she said, 'Have you ever considered taking classes?' For some reason, it had never crossed my mind.
