I like to kill people in my dreams, so when I fall asleep be sure not to come too close.
I think it's basically quite different from dreams. If only cinema was that easy. Because dreams, all you have to do is fall asleep, and you can have fantastic vision. I know Baudelaire and people like that enhance their dreams with opium or something. But films are very constructed - they're like architecture. They're pieced together, glued together. People who are close to me know, they so know that there were days when I was so tired that I would fall asleep anywhere. The onset photographer has pictures of me falling asleep everywhere. Like on chairs, on the floor, in the middle of a set, all curled up. There were times when crew members didn't know where to find me, but they knew I'd be curled up in a ball somewhere.
Traveling around sure gets me down and lonely, nothing else to do but close my mind. I sure hope the road don't come to own me, there's so many dreams I've yet to find. But you're so far away.
Laughing, how can you fall asleep? It brings a state of no-mind and no-thought, and does not allow you to fall asleep.
I don't sleep much. It takes me a long time to fall asleep. I'm a bit of an insomniac but, when I fall asleep, I don't ever want to wake up.
Not every thought is a flower; some are thorns. But while a flower may make you fall asleep and too see dreams, a thorn will wake you up and make you to think!
Know the weapons of the weak, kill weakness of the heart and never fall asleep.
Don't fall asleep yet. Contrary to popular belief, that's not where dreams get accomplished.
I still fall asleep with the TV on, because I'm used to falling asleep with people yelling 'Action!' and 'Cut!'
