I don't live anywhere, so that's what's fun about tours.
I've done a lot of different tours. For me, I try to go on tours that I think are gonna be fun. It's, like, grueling, and it's hard, and there's got to be an element to it that's exciting.
Her business manager said, you know, Gilda [Radner] left you that house. That's when I decided to stay and test it out. And after about a month, the roots grew, and I didn't ever want to live anywhere else for the rest of my life - travel, yes, but not to live anywhere else.
I would love to travel anywhere! To another country... Anywhere that's fun, that has a cool vibe.
It was a life with purpose. And it was also a lot of fun. Fishing is fun. Hiking up mountains is fun. Building a wall out of river rocks dug up from the bottom of a glacial lake is not fun. Not at all. But it does give a work ethic that you can take anywhere in the world.
I remember Phillip Schofield saying to us, just before we started 'SMTV: Live'... 'It will be the best fun you will ever have on telly.'You know what the innocence and freedom we got on that show you don't get anywhere else. We could just mess about.
I'd say street skating is the most fun of the six skateboarding events for me personally. It's also because you can do it anywhere. You don't need a specific ramp or competition; you can just go shred anywhere around your hometown and have a blast with it. That's the best part about street skating.
There's something about being in front of a live audience that's fun. It's a really interesting, very electric, very alive, and intense experience, and you can't get it anywhere else. And I've been doing it since I was 23, so it's part of my being - it's part of my fabric as a person.
We are normally involved in Ozzfest and heavier tours. We love all the tours we've done, but I always thought it'd be cool to do Warped, since a lot of these kids are young girls.
One of the tours we had scheduled - the gaslight tour of Jack the Ripper's haunts, and on Halloween, no less, was canceled at the last minute. I recommend making sure you know the numbers of your tours and destinations so you can confirm your schedule along the way. Also, though we laugh about it now, the Eiffel Tower was on strike so we couldn't go up!
In this day and age, you can write anywhere in the world. You can really live anywhere and have the same career.
We're with each other 24 hours a day. We film all week long. On weekends, we go on these tours. If we didn't have fun, it would be a problem.
Book tours are such a little tapas meal of where I could live.
I'm doing a music video for a group called 'Die Antwoord.' That's fun, but yeah, I'm trying to get a live-action film off the ground, and that could take anywhere from a few months to the rest of my life.
Bouncy trouncy flouncy pouncy fun fun fun fun fun. The most wonderful thing about tiggers is I'm the only one!
Everyone from the pope to some hobo thinks, "I'm a human being. What am I doing here?" You can't get carried away with fame and fortune and all that. It's all nonsense. The whole pop-star side of it is all fun and good, but you don't get anywhere without putting in the hours. I get so fulfilled when we play a song live that we spent hours working on. It's all cool. Fame is something to have fun with, but you shouldn't take it too seriously because it is bollocks.
I grew up doing live tours and playing in bars, so it was what I love to do.
