I feel like everything in WWE I earn the hard way.
WCW and WWE were two totally different environments. A lot of guys in WCW were making a lot of money, and the work schedule wasn't that hard. You had to earn it in WWE.
It's not like everything was given to me. I had to really work hard for it and earn it.
Triple H really prepares everybody for WWE in everything we do in NXT, and everything we do in the performance center is to prepare us for WWE.
I'm working hard. I'm putting in the hard work. I'm sacrificing. I ain't asking for no handouts. I'm going to earn everything I'm given.
WWE wants women who are confident and can handle everything that being a WWE Diva comes with like lots of travel and being tough.
I just got advice to work hard like I always did and never, nobody gave me everything. I always had to earn everything by myself. If I will just continue to do that, I'll be fine.
WWE was great to me. I felt like I gave the company everything I had. And they allowed me to live my dream, which was wrestle in WWE.
The thing is, in the WWE, we have the WWE title, the World title, the United States title, the Intercontinental title, the Divas title, the Tag Team titles. And I feel like, in this business, when Mr. Perfect had that Intercontinental title, that was the belt we saw as the stepping stone to becoming 'the man.' The franchise of the WWE.
Oh sure, I really miss the changing seasons, because in Los Angeles you don't really get that - and I feel like New Yorkers - and, really, all East Coasters - they really earn their good seasons. They earn when the weather's hot; they earn when the leaves start to change.
I know my way around the WWE. I know at least a little bit about everything and our business model, and I feel comfortable there, although I still learn every day.
Believe it or not, I'm not really thinking about anything when I putt....It's hard to teach. I let my instincts take over. I like to see which way the break is going and use it. When I'm putting well, I feel like I can make everything.
I still feel like I am in my introductory period in terms of making my name in WWE so want to keep my head down and work hard. I would also love to have a match with Daniel Bryan.
I grew up working hard to earn everything I had.
Everything I've gotten, I've had to work twice as hard to earn.
When I first got into wrestling, guys my size weren't really being signed to WWE like they are today. But deep down, I knew if I worked as hard as I possibly could, it would eventually happen. Timing is everything, that's for sure.
Unless it's out of the goodness of someone's heart, I don't like having things given to me for free. I like working hard for what I earn. It gives me a sense of gratitude, and that's the only way I can truly appreciate it.
