A Quote by Channing Tatum

The more you try to look sexy, the lamer it is, so you just have to commit to the comedy. — © Channing Tatum
The more you try to look sexy, the lamer it is, so you just have to commit to the comedy.
My strong sense now is that, as women have become more equal in society, so their depictions onscreen have become lamer and lamer and lamer, to the point that it's an embarrassment.
Al's voice was faint but resolute. "Stand up. Try to look sexy." "In a bedsheet?" I complained, running my hands down it. "How can I look sexy in a bedsheet?" He cleared his throat, and I grimaced. "Never mind.
I try to only commit myself to things that I think I can accomplish and commit myself to 100 percent. I try not to bite off more than I can chew.
In some ways the nudity really makes people feel more uncomfortable because it's not nudity that is just making bodies look like sexy little pieces of body parts stuck together. It's much more blunt and real and there is not a sexy soundtrack behind it all.
My definition of sexy is not just using what you got from God, but also that you represent what you believe in. I don't want people to think I'm sexy for what I look like, I want them to find me sexy for who I am and what I do.
The more you progress, the more you learn. I try to pay attention to ticket counts, draws, guarantees and bonuses. I look at my deals closely these days and try to come up with other projects and ideas, since this business [comedy] is about creating content.
Here's the thing, with comedy - and I learned this from Will Ferrell - you can't be ashamed. If you're doing comedy, you have to fully commit to the joke. Shame is not part of it. If you act shy or uncomfortable about your body, that makes the audience shy and uncomfortable. And in a comedy you just want them to loosen up and laugh.
Nobody thinks of themselves as sexy, really. Some days you go, 'Hey, I'm not going too bad today.' But if you try and be sexy, you'll never be sexy.
I'm just me. If I am sexy, it's just something I do naturally, like picking up a knife and fork to eat. I think people who try to be sexy are the most unsexy people in the world.
To me, sexy is the confident energy a person produces. sexy is the comfortable feeling of being who you are. sexy is not just having beautiful lips, legs and arms; its beyond that. sexy is soul.
If I'm saying a universal truth, but maybe it's something that people don't feel comfortable saying It's a strange take, but at the same time, what you're hitting on is kind of right. You can relate. That's the heart of comedy. You have to have a point of view. You gotta commit. And the more you commit to it, sometimes the funnier it gets.

I never wanted to be a mother, and when I got the show I was really upset. I was like "I'm not sexy anymore!" The more you become a mom, you're not sexy, which of course is crap. But that's the way actors look at it. Of course, that's not true now. But everybody expects you to look differently and act differently.
I probably prefer comedy. Why? I'm not sure. I feel like the energy of a comedy is a better fit for me. I try to be a happy guy! It seems that most of my life has the energy more for a comedy than for drama. I'm grateful to do both, but I would have to lean towards the comedy side of acting.
I would be lying if I said I don't like to look sexy. But then there are some days when I don't want to look or feel sexy.
What makes all those women sexy? Were they just born sexy? I guess it's the way they act. I don't want to have to act sexy. I just want to be me, and if I don't happen to be sexy, oh well. That's OK. I don't want to force something I'm not.
