Busted is not the ideal band I'd like to be in by any stretch of the imagination. — © Charlie Simpson
Busted is not the ideal band I'd like to be in by any stretch of the imagination.
A good analogy is stretching a rubber band. You can stretch and stretch and even feel the tension increase in the muscles in your hands and arms as the gap from one end of the band to the other widens. But at some point you reach the limits of elasticity of the band and it snaps. The same thing happens with human systems.
So scary watching the news...Like Iraq...could ever under any stretch of the imagination be any threat to us whatsoever.
The Busted thing happened when I was 16. I saw an opportunity, took it and it was better than being at school. It was a fun job but I'd never claim Busted was anything other than a pop band.
Now let's get talking: reefer madness. Like some arrogant government can't, By any stretch of the imagination, outlaw a plant.
I'm not a massive artist by any stretch of the imagination. Yes, I've been in papers and magazines, but you never have any idea if anyone actually reads it or pays any attention.
I'm not a passive person by any stretch of the imagination.
No one was there. Some teammates, huh? I guess they didn't want to get their lip busted like the gentleman I busted. Sorry for that sir.
I wouldn't say that I've had a tough life by any stretch of the imagination.
I don't regret my votes for President Obama by any stretch of the imagination.
I don't want to become a laid-back artist by any stretch of the imagination.
I'm not a gun person by any stretch of the imagination, and it's not something I feel comfortable participating in.
I'm one of those people. I can be sold by the candy in life, and then it can be stripped away within a split second and I feel like I've seen too much. And that's the way, I've been like that most of my life, so I could never say I was there yet in any stretch of the imagination.
I don't think I've reached perfection by any stretch of the imagination, but maybe someday I'll become a perfectionist.
I don't define myself as an actor at all. Nor is that my greatest passion in life by any stretch of the imagination.
I don't profess to be Shonda Rhimes by any stretch of the imagination, or Dick Wolf. They're icons. I'm a filmmaker.
I enjoy playing with a big band occasionally, but it's too restricting; you really don't have a chance to stretch out and do what you want to do. Getting that thing of relating to a large band is great experience; I relate much better, though, if it's a small band.
