A Quote by Charlotte Gainsbourg

I wasn't getting the responses I hoped for. You can't protect yourself from other judgments. — © Charlotte Gainsbourg
I wasn't getting the responses I hoped for. You can't protect yourself from other judgments.
Faith is the substance of hope - of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen. Nobody else is going to protect yourself. You've got to protect yourself.
You project a version of yourself to the public to protect and insulate yourself a little bit. Actors come up with a version of themselves in order to protect the real person.
Acting schools want to keep you in a position where they can still protect you, but in this industry no one's going to protect you except yourself. You've got to take care of yourself and you've got to get a great team around you.

...as your father, my instinct is to protect you ... Other people will want to protect you too. But remember that you are not a damsel in distress, waiting for some prince to rescue you. Forget the prince. With your brain and your resourcefulness, you can rescue yourself.
You do not adequately protect yourself by being half awake when other are sleeping.
You can never protect yourself 100%. What you do is protect yourself as much as possible and mitigate risk to an acceptable degree. You can never remove all risk.
