A Quote by Christina Ricci

Well, I think I've had a fairly meandering career. — © Christina Ricci
Well, I think I've had a fairly meandering career.
I think I've had a fairly meandering career. Because I did start so young, I think that I've always chosen my parts based on what's interesting to me and what I think would be challenging or fun, or someone I've always wanted to work with or a place I've always wanted to work in or a topic.
I had a kind of meandering little career, and then I was given a chance to play one of the bottom six in The Dirty Dozen.
I think [Donald] Trump is going to try to be fairly low key, but the problem is that I don`t think he is going to very well with [Hillary] Clinton attacking him fairly relentlessly for 90 minutes.
I had always thought of myself as fairly tough and fairly strong and fairly able to cope with anything. And then I had a series of personal losses. My mother died. A relationship that I was in came to end, and a variety of other things went awry.
In the business world, I did fairly well, but wasn't happy. A bout of sciatica put me flat on my back. All I could do was read, listen to my mother's stories about the Sandovals, and daydream: a return to self. My writing career had begun.
I define myself first and foremost as I've had a fairly successful career.
Like most conservatives, my path was a bit meandering. I grew up around people who mostly held conservative or libertarian views. The liberals I knew were fairly quiet about it, or at least I don't remember it being very heavy-handed.
I think Nexus is one of the favorite periods of my career, and I think we had a lot of success, and I think people responded to it really well.
I don't like the word 'career'. When somebody says to me, 'oh, you've had such a wonderful career', I think, 'career - that's after you're dead.' I just don't think that way.
I had a lot of time to myself, and I would listen to a lot of music, mostly music that I knew fairly well and had a relationship with. And I'd think, well, what is it that I've never been able to do that this person or people are able to do with this song? Why haven't I been able to do it, and what can they do that I wish I could do? And then I'd try to do that. I'd start each day getting into the songs, and I'd think about how I might get closer to this music that I love, but haven't been able to make before.
I was always a happy kid. I'd play the piano fairly well. I did all sorts of things fairly well. But who the hell wants to be happy all the time? It's a miserable state to be in permanently. Can you imagine how dreary that would be?
It's going to be intense. This is what we played the whole tournament for, we had to play an extra game but I think that's a good thing, we got some line combinations working together fairly well now.
When I look back and think about it, I feel my career was fairly good but, certainly, not tremendous.
I'm practicing a kind of meandering faith, or faithful meandering. I just trust that something is coming. I don't know what it is. But I've been a straphanger all my life; I know what it's like to not know when the next train is coming, but I trust the subway.
I had a certain career as an actor that I think was quite personal as well, and had a lot of integrity, but I wasn't writing my own things or directing my own movies.
Absolutely, I think that during a course of my career, I had a long career in sport, I had many ups and downs.
