A Quote by Colin Kaepernick

I think the biggest part of my game that's underestimated is the mental part of it. — © Colin Kaepernick
I think the biggest part of my game that's underestimated is the mental part of it.
I have to say my relationship with the horses is the biggest thing, and it grows. I love horses more and more every day, and I'm breeding, so when I'm playing a horse that's the son of a horse, the daughter of a horse I used to play, it's like bonding. So I think that's the most amazing part of it. It's the passion that we polo players have for the horses first, and then the game and the strategy of the game and winning and the team and your teammates, all of those things are a big part of it, but the horses are my favorite part.
Religion is not the biggest part of my life. I'm always playing baseball. But it's certainly a part of it, and having a faith in something. I've always worn a cross, and it's been a part of my game. It's always there with me.
I think the biggest thing that I learned, and why I've fallen in love with baseball, is how mental of a game it is. It's such a mental sport, and it's beautiful. I think definitely the mental aspect, the stats, and the mathematics, that, to me, really blew me away.
My coach has taught me since 5 years old, and he stresses not just the quality of training but the mental part. Technique and the mental game have to mesh, balance.
I draw a lot of comparisons with Cam Newton and E.J. Manuel. But for the mental part, I like to view myself as Peyton Manning, Tom Brady, Drew Brees, and those guys. Because they're so ahead of everyone else when it comes to that part of the game.
Fifty percent of the game is mental and the other 50 percent is being mental. I've got that part down, no problem.
The issue of gender was never my biggest concern; my biggest concern was doing good work. When the feminist movement really got going, I wasn't an active part of it because I was more concerned with my own mental pursuits.
I guess when people ask what is the biggest transition to the NBA from college, it is definitely defense and the mental part.
Obviously, I have to continue to get better with the mental part of the game.
The mental side of sports, it's huge. It's such a massive part of the game.
A game is where you win and lose, and both are part of it. When there is more chance of losing, it is more charming. The game has value when it is tough. So some little problems that come in life are part of the whole game.
Most people miss the great part mental outlook plays in this game.
The Champions League is one of the biggest club stages you can reach and I think for players it is an honour to be part of it. It certainly is for me. You just enjoy being a part of it playing against the best clubs in Europe.
It's part of the game, there's a lot of trash talking going on. It's all part of it, they try to get you off your game.
I love the game of football. I've been playing since I was 6 years old, and now that I am retired and not really into it physically, it's all about the mental part of it now. It's just coaching and teaching the game.
I think the most important thing I work on is just my mental approach to every day, my mental approach to the game. How to come in each and every day focused, doing what I want to do, I think that's just the biggest issue.
