Most of the really stupid comments I've made in my years in Cincinnati are concerning bachelorhood.
Media are focused on comments Michael Jordan made about race which appear in my book. He made those comments years ago, talking of his youth

If there's an article about sexual assault, if there's a video about feminism on YouTube, you're going to get the most horrible, disgusting comments ever. If somebody had an explanation saying why they thought the earth was five thousand years old, there's only two possible explanations: you're really stupid, or you're really cynical and trying to get really stupid people's votes.
I get really negative comments all the time, but the comments that really bother me are the ones that question my character.
I didn't realise how important stupid people are in your life, because you ask yourself, what made stupid people so stupid? What made them the way they are?
Regarding comments attributed to me in the Los Angeles Times - allegedly made on a bus trip from Germany to Holland in 1998 - I emphatically denounce such comments as false.

A group of national security experts, military intelligence experts, issued a very concerning statement about Senator Bernie Sanders's views on foreign policy and national security, pointing out some of the comments he has made on these issues, such as inviting Iranian troops into Syria to try to resolve the conflict there; putting them right at the doorstep of Israel.
