Growing up in L.A., every kid wants to play for the Lakers. As a kid I went to their championship parades, bought a Kobe jersey - I went to the gym and made everybody call me Kobe - loved Shaq, loved the three-peat.
Everyone watches the Lakers, let's be honest.
Kobe is part of the Laker family and he always will be. There's not many players who play 18-19 years with the same franchise, and it's important to us that he has a chance to play his entire career with the Lakers.
If everyone had a superpower, Kobe would be the Hulk. Kobe could take on a whole team by himself and he's willing to do that. So, Kobe is like I'll go 5-1, I don't care. I'm still going to win. I put in more work than all five of you guys.
If you mention the Lakers, you think about Kobe.
I love Kobe Bryant, was a Lakers fan for sure.
When I got traded to the Lakers in '97, Kobe Bryant was just a rookie.
If a jayvee team puts on Lakers uniforms, that doesn't make them Kobe Bryant.
I remember watching when D-Wade and LeBron were here playing for the Heat. I remember watching them play the Lakers with Kobe. So I just was able to watch those games growing up and really watch my favorite players.
Losing Michael Jackson is a handicap. It's the Lakers trying to win a championship without Kobe Bryant.
Kobe is Kobe. He is one of the best to ever play this game. Given the opportunity, he can embarrass you.
I just enjoy going to the games, but if you're watching the Lakers play, it feels good to be rooting for the Lakers. You're on the winning end of things most of the time.
I can't play like Kobe, man. There's only one Kobe.
Everyone who watches me play knows I am an honest player. play the game as honestly as I can. If the referee gives a penalty there is nothing you can do.
I grew up in L.A., so I'm a huge Lakers fan and Kobe fan.
Lakers are my boys! I'm 100 percent the biggest Kobe fan on the planet. I text him after every game to tell him what's up.
