I don't care if I ever work in TV again. — © Dave Chappelle
I don't care if I ever work in TV again.
I also care that the public are getting their 12 dollars worth when they go to a movie, and that they're not coming out not wanting to ever see a movie with me in it again. I don't care what people think of me as a person, but I do care what people think of my work, and whether I'm investing enough into it.
With moviemaking, you can be halfway around the world for six months. So there are amazing benefits to doing TV, and with the platform change and the way it is, I would never ever rule out doing TV again.
Believe it or not, I don't own a TV. Crazy huh? I'm not a big movie-goer either. I just feel like I'm watching work. I am always outside and couldn't care less about what's on TV these days.
After I was on reality TV, after that whole phase of my life was over, I really didn't want to do anything reality TV-related ever again.
When answering questions over the years about film and TV adaptations of my books, I have always maintained that no movie or TV series could ever change or damage my work.
I know certainly, when one job draws to a close, that I feel I'm simply never going to work again. No one will ever want me for anything ever again. I think that's a vulnerable moment in every actor's life, and it happens every time you finish a film.
Men don't care what's on TV. They only care what else is on TV.
I think TV is all about caring, and if you don't care about a character in a drama or a person when they get voted out of a reality show, it's bad TV. I wouldn't care if you dropped a bomb on the 'Big Brother' house.
Practically everybody I've ever worked with, I'd like to work with again. I had a great time with the people that I've worked with, and the directors, and a lot of the casts. There's really nobody where you'd say, "Oh, I got X, Y, and zed again! Gahhh, no!" It really brings a smile to my face, because in 95 percent of the cases, people I've worked with, I'd be thrilled to work with again.
I am just a little tired of the Stones and the Beatles, and I don't care if I ever hear 'Louie Louie' ever again.
I do not care for anything. I do not care to ride, for the exercise is too violent. I do not care to walk, walking is too strenuous. I do not care to lie down, for I should either have to remain lying, and I do not care to do that, or I should have to get up again, and I do not care to do that either. Summa summarum: I do not care at all.
My job never actually leaves me. I watch people who come home from work at six and they're done, and that seems crazy. Then again, they have to get up at seven and go to work, to a job that maybe they don't really care about, and I get to do something that I care about.
I really just love to work, and I don't care if it's TV or movies.
I don't know if I'll ever do it again or not, but frankly I don't really care.
If I can't dance, I don't care if my dances are ever done again!
Without chiropractic care, I couldn't have existed with my work as a TV and film actor.
