It is never easy to play with Roger, Rafa and Novak in the middle of the tournament because they've had matches and are fresh.
Rafa being 6-1 against Roger is not a source of pride for me. I'm happy that Rafa won the tournament, but I would have liked that Federer could have won the Grand Slam, because I think he's a phenomenal player. For me, he is the player I enjoy watching the most.
It's really amazing. Novak, Rafa, Roger, they win couple times a year in a row all the grand slams.
Against Rafa or Roger or Novak, it's about getting over that intimidation, believing you deserve a chance to take them out.
Against Novak and Rafa, you have balls to hit, but they are so physically really tough. And Roger, he just takes position in the court. He tries to go forward all the time, go for the winners. Then you just don't play tennis against him.
Guys like Roger Federer and Rafa Nadal know how to win matches, they don't need to have as much confidence as other players.
When you play the same tournament as Federer, Murray, Djokovic and Rafa, they have more media than me, for sure.
I am a big fan of players like Roger Federer, Andy Murray, Novak Djokovic and Leander Paes. I would love to see them play.
If I... if I competed in Bruno Sammartino's era, I'd have been champion for 20 years, too. No, I'd have been champion for 30 years. Because wrestling one night a month at Madison Square Garden is easy. You never see a Hulk Hogan wrestle TLC matches against a superstar like Ryback. Because he had it easy. I wrestle physically demanding matches on free television, week in and week out. So much that my one year equals 30 of theirs. And I have attained this success, not... not because of you. I am successful not because of you. I am successful in spite of you.
Rafa and Roger, they have completely different games.
I try to focus on more winning matches here and try to go forward rather than the ranking because is the first step, to win matches, getting far in tournament, and we see after.
I think when you can beat Novak Djokovic in the final of a Masters tournament, you are going to be OK.
I have played some good matches against Rafa on clay.
Peter Fonda was just this clean, cookie-cutter kind of a guy. Roger Corman turned him into the motorcycle man with The Wild Angels. Jack Nicholson, all of them, they all had these images that Roger Corman fueled, and Easy Rider, it was a big surprise to understand how much creative influence Roger had. A lot of people dismiss him as just launching famous people's careers or being a penny pinching producer, but he's so much more than that.
Michael Jordan was blessed by God to play basketball and Roger Brown was the closet person to him I ever saw. I don't say that lightly. Roger was phenomenal. There was nothing he couldn't do. He was so quick he would trick people blind - I even saw him miss layups because he was laughing so hard at what he had just done to someone.
More than half of the matches are won in the dressing room for him. The guy he's playing against is sitting in the locker-room thinking 'oh my God, I'm going to play Rafa Nadal on clay in five sets, that's going to be painful.'
When I was playing in a junior tournament one time, I missed a short putt and threw my putter into the trees. I went on to win the tournament and later, instead of my dad congratulating me, he told me that if I ever threw a club again, I'd never play in another golf tournament. I haven't thrown a club since.
