I would see Shah Rukh in most romantic films. I would see him in 'Notting Hill' and 'Pretty Woman.' He is the king of romance.
I am thrilled that DDLJ has beaten all records, Shah Rukh Khan and I share a close friendship that translates onto the screen. We have such fun working together. Shah Rukh has a great sense of humour. He invests incredible energy into his acting. He reads a lot. I share all these with him. I love books. I love his style of working and abundant refinement. I love him to death and would like to work with him again.
I think Shah Rukh and I have done essentially romantic films that had great contributions from everyone else, so it's not as if we alone are responsible for our hits.
Shah Rukh is not my girlfriend that I should remember him. When I don't remember my past girlfriends, what will I remember Shah Rukh for?
As a kid, my dad would take me to see indie films when I would visit him in New York. Films that I just wouldn't see growing up in the Bay Area.
Rani Mukherji has been my role model and I would like to do the kind of films that she has done. But to work with Shah Rukh Khan is my ultimate dream.
There are so many Shah Rukh Khan films that I like but of course, 'Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge' is my favourite. I fall in love with it as many times I see it.
I have grown up watching Bollywood films, watching Shah Rukh Khan's films. I am happy that I worked with him.
Shah Rukh Khan should remember that if a huge mass in society would boycott his films, he will also have to wander on streets like a normal Muslim.
Shah Rukh is very romantic in real life, too.
I was excited that my films would finally see the light of day and people would see them. But I never imagined that such nice things would be said about a lot of my films.
I'd like to get into the superhero genre. I'd love to do either a DC or a Marvel character. I just love the way they're approaching these characters in these films. I also would love to get back into some romantic films. I love romance films, especially between people of color, because we don't really explore that enough. I would love to do that.
In India, multiplex ticket prices are high; therefore people are a bit hesitant. The ticket price for a newcomer's film is the same as a Shah Rukh Khan or a Salman Khan film. Why would people pay, say Rs 400, for a newcomer's film when they can watch a Shah Rukh Khan film at the same price?
I would really want to work with Shah Rukh Khan again.
I don't think there has been a huge shift. Most of the films still focus on Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Akshay Kumar, etc. The percentage of films that have someone like a Kangana Ranaut shining in it is really low.
Though rom-coms aren't necessarily my cup of tea, I was a huge fan of 'Notting Hill.' I laughed a lot, and the romance got to me.
When me and Mike Tyson were around, we played king of the hill. Whoever comes to the hill, you get your behind whooped. We don't pick and choose. I fought guys when I had fractured wrists and ribs, bad backs, I didn't care. I was the king of the hill; Tyson was king of the hill. When we left, people were trying to get the 'most money fight.'
