WE used to tour quite a lot during the summer with Everton in my day.
My mum has always kept my feet on the ground and told me that if I carry on working hard it will pay off. I used to say 'If I play for Everton one day' and she would always say 'No, when you play for Everton.'
When I spoke to Everton, the plan, the project, the history of the club was interesting. If I didn't see ambition in Everton I wouldn't come to Everton and that's maybe a good message to all of the players.
In my living room I always used to tell my mum 'one day I'll score for Everton' and when that happened it was unbelievable for me.
As you probably know, this woman I like to call my mother went on tour for her 'MDNA' album. As a summer job, I decided to work in the wardrobe department. All of my friends were getting summer jobs, and I wanted one, too. Mine was a little unconventional but still a great experience and a lot of fun.
I think I was always going to be an Everton player from the day I was born. There is a certain type of player who is an Everton player
I used to think she was quite intelligent , in my stupidity. The reason I did was because she knew quite a lot about the theater and plays and literature and all that stuff. If somebody knows quite a lot about all those things, it takes you quite a while to find out whether they're really stupid or not.
I used to go to sports camp every summer. I'd make a lot of new friends, and it was all athletic. It was basically a place for parents to send their kids to run out all their summer energy for two weeks.
European festivals area lot bigger than American ones, but I like the travelling festivals, it's the same production every day and the bands get used to the stage set up and by the third or fourth show of the tour they're putting on a better show than if they just played one day.
Dad used to reminisce about the good old days when Everton won the old first division championship and the FA Cup back in the 1970s and 80s but they weren't quite so good when I started supporting them.
My fans are crazy, but in a good way. Very supportive, and some tweet me more like a 100 times a day. As for tour tales, I have a saying: 'What happens on tour stays on tour.'
My senior year was crazy, and that summer was definitely life-changing and a lot different than what I was used to, and with that comes a lot of critique.
To be out here on the PGA Tour, especially during the summer, is a dream come true. I'm just trying to get to know a lot of the guys out here.
When I think about a mid-table club like Everton spending £150 million during the summer, I am lost for words.
Its Arsenal 0 - Everton 1, and the longer it stays like that the more you've got to fancy Everton.
The difference between Everton and the Queen Mary is that Everton carry more passengers!
I achieved my dream of playing for Everton, from a young age I always dreamed of scoring for Everton.
