An objective without a plan is a dream. — © Douglas McGregor
An objective without a plan is a dream.
One should share their dreams with others right away in the morning. One can use my Lightning Dreamwork process. First, the person shares the dream without being interrupted. Then each person shares their thoughts about the dream by saying, "If it were my dream," not presuming to tell the person what the dream means in an objective way. Lastly, the dreamer is helped to make an action plan for embodying the energy and guidance from the dream.
A goal without a plan is a dream.
A goal without a plan is only a dream.

Wishing, hoping, and dreaming without an action plan - is nothing more than a pipe dream!
Let us, above all, be clear that, without a convincing program of debt relief to start the new millennium, our objective of halving world poverty by 2015 will be only a pipe dream.
A dream is just a dream. A goal is a dream with a plan and a deadline.
When the Normandy Invasion was planned, a very specific strategic objective was given, and that strategic objective was the basis upon which the plan for the Normandy Invasion was derived.
A Dream Theater without me was never in the plan; I never expected that.
The enemy of a good plan is the dream of a perfect plan.
When we can see things as they are, without projecting our mental models and fears, we are being objective. When we can understand and consider another person's point of view, we are being objective.
I am a firm believe in the power of dreams, because the world is basically one giant realization of people's collective dreams come true. We need to dream to aspire to do something that keeps us striving. But those dreams and ideas and wants mean nothing without execution, which doesn't usually happen without a plan.
If your dream dies, dream another one. If things don't work out the way you've planned, God has a better plan for you.
