When I was in school, we would always have running races. I was good at it. Always sprinting. I can run long distance, too.
Making a movie is like sprinting. Nightclub work is a long-distance event. You have to pace yourself and sustain it for a long period.
I guess I am basically most comfortable when I'm alone. As a kid, I was very much a loner. I love long distance running and long distance biking. A director once pointed out that those are all very isolated exercises you do for hours at a time.
