If you're buying an album because of the face on it, you're stupid. — © Enrique Iglesias
If you're buying an album because of the face on it, you're stupid.
You shouldn't take a customer who's buying an album, who's happy buying an album, and try to tell them that what they're doing is wrong.
Stupid religion makes stupid beliefs, stupid leaders make stupid rules, stupid environment makes stupid health, stupid companions makes stupid behaviour, stupid movies makes stupid acts, stupid food makes stupid skin, stupid bed makes stupid sleep, stupid ideas makes stupid decisions, stupid clothes makes stupid appearance. Lets get rid of stupidity from our stupid short lives.
When someone is buying a sample-based album, they are investing in the concept of that album. If they really like the original source material, they can go buy it.
Men are stupid. That much I know for sure. They say stupid things. They do stupid things. They hurt you for stupid reasons. But we love them all the same. My fiancee can be as stupid as can be at times, but then again so can I. We all can. Lets face it, life and love would be boring if we were all straight laced and smart.
I remember thinking: 'Why is Jim's face so big?' on the cover of our first album, 'The Doors.' Probably because it wouldn't have sold a lot of copies if it were my face!
There are really three parts to the album, and there's, like, quite a lot of hip-hop on there. I guess it is a worry that people who love 'Human' might think they're buying the album and that's a blueprint for it, but it's definitely not. Hopefully they'll be pleasantly surprised.
Feeling prosperous means paying your utility bills on time and with a smile on your face. Prosperity means not only giving to the homeless person, but having a smile on your face when you do it. Prosperity also means buying fresh produce with a smile on your face instead of buying day-old bread or bargain overripe fruit with a scowl on your face. Still more, being prosperous means tipping generously with a smile on your face when the waiter has given you great service instead of trying to stiff him with a mere percent, or worse, no tip at all.
I grew up in an age where I loved going and buying a physical record. Things that were digital and all that stuff, it wasn't around. So I loved going and buying an album and looking through the inserts and reading stuff and seeing pictures.
We had to create an album where there wasn't one. I never listen to that album [ Music From the Edge of Heaven] because it wasn't an album.
I like to think that people are buying Emilia Wickstead because they want to keep it in their wardrobe as an investment piece; she's not just buying it because it's of the moment or what's currently in season.
One of the reasons why my album is called 'Forget the World' is because when you listen to the world, you make stupid mistakes.
The only album that I listen to upon recording a new one is my 'Cry' album, because sonically, I think it's my best album to date. But other than that, I've never listened to my records, ever.
Sandy: Boy, you must really think I'm stupid or something. Jeff: Ahh, no one would call you stupid, to your face.
It's interesting, because I named my first album after my dad because I wanted to find him. My second album was named after my mom because I felt like I learned all my creative talents I learned from her. All the survival stuff, too. And then the next album is 'Maya,' which is not my real name. It's fake.
I was never stupid with my money, because I grew up without it. So when I started to make some, I was like, 'Okay, first rule of thumb, I'm not buying it unless I've got the money to buy it,' so I have no debt.
I'm floating between multiple media. I really wish you could buy the hardcover book and it would come with the digital download and audible version. I spend stupid amounts of money because I'm usually buying my books in at least two formats.
