I am thrilled to be 31, still running and having my daughter watch me even if it is on TV.
I actually don't watch TV at all. If you asked me what my favorite TV show is, I couldn't tell you because I don't watch TV.
I'd always vaguely expected to outgrow my limitations. One day, I'd stop twisting my hair, and wearing running shoes all the time, and eating exactly the same food every day. I'd remember my friends' birthdays, I'd learn Photoshop, I wouldn't let my daughter watch TV during breakfast. I'd read Shakespeare.
Even 31 sounds quite old to me, because my brain is probably still in a state of adolescent delinquency.
[After her 18-day disappearance in 1974:] I love my husband very, very much, but he didn't ask me when he ran for mayor and he didn't consult me about running for governor. It would be nice to be asked. ... You know, I've been my mother's daughter, my father's daughter, the wife of my husband, the mother of my six children, and grandmother to my eleven grandchildren, but I have never been me. But I am now because I went away. I am a changed woman.
I am constantly visible in TV shows because anybody who is thinking of a role sees me performing on TV and may say, 'Why not him?' That way I am always in the limelight. It's better than running around for good roles. I can't lobby for roles.
Not watching TV gets me in a lot of trouble in my household because my wife and daughter have a lot of shows they like to watch.
I just don't skimp on TV. Even if I'm exhausted and so tired and it's 12 A.M. and a Sunday night, I'll still watch Game of Thrones. I will stay up, and I will watch it. I totally screw my sleep schedule up.
I'm not one of these people who says, 'I don't watch TV much.' Or looks down their nose at TV and they watch it for 20, 30 hours a week. I'm so busy. I work seven days a week that I just don't watch TV.
I am obsessed with trash TV. I watch all reality shows. I watch all the 'Housewives.' I am a huge fan of 'New Jersey.'

I'm not a huge TV person. I don't like having the noise when I'm doing other things unless I'm really lonely, and then I turn the TV on. But I do like to sit down and watch TV in the evenings.
Paul Michael Glaser was very nice to me, and I was again told, "Do less and less and less and less." And I still was bad! I can't believe I kept getting hired after some of these things I did! It's baffling to me. I'll go back and look at it, and I can't even watch it [Running man film].
Watch human nature; we are so built that if we do not get thrilled in the right way, we will get thrilled in the wrong. If we are without the thrill of communion with God, we will try to get thrilled by the devil, or by some concoction of human ingenuity.
I watch a lot of TV. I love nothing more than having a good TV show on DVD, to just plow through.
I don't have a television in my house. I haven't owned one in years. In truth, it's about mental health for me. It's hard for me to have a television in the house because I'll just stay inside and binge-watch stuff that I don't even want to watch. I've learned when I don't have a TV, it forces me to go outside.
I don't really watch any TV. I'll glance at the TV sometimes if my wife's watching 'Empire' or 'Scandal.' I'll sit with her for an episode. But I don't have a TV show that I watch.
