A Quote by Frank de Boer

I want to add something to a club, something which people can say: 'That's the hand of Frank De Boer.' — © Frank de Boer
I want to add something to a club, something which people can say: 'That's the hand of Frank De Boer.'
I wanted to show the world who Frank De Boer was because I missed 1996 and then in 1994 I played the World Cup in USA and I played in 1992 in the European Cup and I didn't show really the Frank De Boer for the whole world and I was really focused and eager to show myself.
I only had good years with Frank de Boer. I don't have anything bad to say about him.
When people say they don't want a nanny state, they are, in fact, in a conflicted state of mind. On the one hand, they want to do whatever they want and not be stopped. On the other hand, if something goes wrong, they want to be rescued.
I have something to say. I know how to do something. I’m doing it. If you want me to do it with you, raise your hand.
Everybody seen me talking to Frank Ocean, so they know something is coming, so something is coming with Frank Ocean - just wait on it - and, you know, people were just like, 'Whoa, Rich the Kid found Frank Ocean!'
When we speak, we want to say something sweet, but we don't say something sweet because something is ordering us from deep down to say something unkind. We want to open our hearts to people, but we can't do it, because we are being ordered around by the sufferings we have concealed deep in our consciousness.
You know, people want to honor me, and on the one hand I just don't want to be a poster child; but on the other, I want to do something classy and great - something where the residuals will go to the cause.
People only love you as long as they're getting something of you, but the minute you say something they don't want to hear or do something they don't want to see, all the admiration drains from their hearts.
You might say that a creative person is a person who simply has a desire to have something, to add something to the world that's not there yet, and goes about arranging fort that to happen. When you desire a work of art and make it, you've added to the stock of art in the world. Artists are one of the people who can do that: add to the stock of things.
One big power of an actor is knowing when to say no to something. It can be very tempting to say yes to something, because you're flattered that somebody would like to work with you, and your ego sort of takes over, but it's important to ask whether there could be something you could add to a project by being part of it.
Frank de Boer definitely showed in the Netherlands that he's a good coach.
I always feel like if someone has stage fright, I really try and say, "Listen, these people want you to succeed, they want to have a good evening. They want to see something really great. They don't want to see something crappy. They don't. They want to be at something really special."
I want people to say that I'm something new, something different. Something they've never seen before.
It can be 10 people or thousands of people: I want them to see something special. I want them to say, 'I saw the best in the world at something,' and maybe that will inspire them to go do something in their life with the same vigor.
People want something that's relevant to their lives. They want something that means something to them, and they want something where it seems like people have thought about what they're saying.
I was rather disappointed, because the one thing I wanted to gain from that opportunity was to add something to his music, and have him add something to mine.
