To have Serena in the Wimbledon final, I think, is the hardest match you can have.
It was a match I lost, rather than she won [on Serena Williams winning with an apparent cramp injury at Wimbledon
There are so many positives and great memories I will take with me from Wimbledon 2018. It was always part of the dream to play in a Wimbledon final. It means so much for me to have played in the championship match.
I think the best match I played was against Roger Federer in the quarter-finals at Wimbledon in 2011, especially because I won this match after being two sets down.
People think I am unemotional because my voice is flat and a bit boring. It is unfortunate but it is just the way it is. I've tried to change it but it doesn't seem to make a difference. The truth is, I have lots of emotions inside. I cried after the semi-final at Wimbledon [2012] because I was proud to reach the final and I knew how much it meant to the country. I cried after the [losing] final [to Federer], too, for different reasons. I felt I had let people down. I think people warmed to that. They could see how much it hurt.
Once you step on the court, you see the crowd, you see the final, you see I'm here playing another Wimbledon final.
It's unbelievable. To be in the semis, it's just crazy. To play Serena it will be a great match.
That final match I had at WrestleMania with The Rock was my last match.
That match was late evening and I had the experience of the electricity of the Centre Court because it was packed, a full house for the whole match. It had been a great year for me, first time there and I had the full taste of Wimbledon.
Even when I was a little kid, I always dreamed that I would play Serena in a final of a Grand Slam.
To cry on court during a Wimbledon final, you must feel so lonely.
When I lost the Wimbledon 2012 final, I didn't know if I'd ever win a slam.
I love Serena [Williams]. Seeing what Serena's done in her field has been incredible.
I want to be the band everyone knows that goes hardest. Plays the hardest, parties the hardest, lives the hardest, loves the hardest, does everything the hardest, harder than anybody else.
My first match on a Grand Slam show court was when I played Petra Kvitova on Centre Court at Wimbledon in 2015. Petra was the defending champion and I think I was done in 34 minutes.
I understand how much everyone wanted to see a British winner at Wimbledon and I hope everyone enjoyed it. I worked so hard in that last game. It's the hardest few points I've had to play in my life. I don't know how I came through the final three points... that last game ... my head was kind of everywhere. That last game will be the toughest game I'll play in my career, ever.
If you want to win a Grand Slam, when you dream, you say, 'I want Serena in the final.'
