I want to be a good person. — © Gareth Thomas
I want to be a good person.
Am I a good person? Deep down, do I even really want to be a good person, or do I only want to seem like a good person so that people (including myself) will approve of me? Is there a difference? How do I ever actually know whether I'm bullshitting myself, morally speaking?
There's a morality... I think there's a moral compass but whether that comes from religion or just from being a good person, and where one starts and the other begins... I'm a good person, I hope. They're inherently good people, every single person that I've ever worked with on an 'Avengers' film. I think they want to do good, and they want people to be happy, and they want to speak what they believe.
I want to marry a good person, not his profession. If the person is good, the profession doesn't matter. I hold honesty, simplicity, and genuineness above everything.
Character is just another term for "good person." A person of character lives a worthy life guided by moral principles. A person of character is a good parent, a good friend, a good employee and a good citizen.
I want my lasting legacy to be that I was a good wrestler but a better person. I want people to remember me as a good dude. I think that's very important.
I want to be a good actress, I want to be a good person, and I want to play baseball.
I want to be like the air. The good-hearted person whose kindness overflows and people realize how important she was to them, once she is gone. I want to be that kind of person.
I'm not sure anything makes you an outright good person or bad person - that we're all capable of doing good or bad things. And if you want to know how much good you can do, and how much hurt you can do, just ask somebody you love.
So many people say, "I'm a good person!" Like, why are you a good person? To be a good person you have to actively be good.
Being a Muslim is more important than me being a footballer. A good Muslim is a good person, so I try to be a good person. I just live the way I want to live.
I want to be a good friend, a good sister, a good person and a good actress.
I want to show that you can be a successful entertainment executive, be a good husband, be a good father, be a good friend, be down to earth, be a good person, and give back. If I can push that message out there into the world and pass it on to my son, then I'm OK.
